Fulbright 2000 is the home page for two courses offered during Fall 2000 at Universidad Nacional de Trujillo, Peru.
These offerings are intended for students and faculty with interest in the importance of metal ions in biological systems.
Photographs of my Fulbright experience are now available.
Appropriate materials will be distributed during class (or placed in the library) and will be based on a combination of textbooks and current literature (see corresponding reading lists for individual courses).
The KEGG graphical pathway maps may be useful in reviewing various metabolic pathways.
"Chime Square" may be used to examine aspects of metalloprotein structure and function.
Your performance in each course will be based on two section examinations. Each examination will consist of a combination of short-answer, multiple-choice, and problem-solving questions. Examinations will be scheduled at mid-course and at the end of each course.
As a general policy, there will be no make-up examinations. Demonstrate your responsibility by attending lectures, discussions, and examinations.
