Compare the net ATP gained from the breakdown of one molecule of glucose-1-phosphate to two molecules of lactate with the net ATP required for the synthesis of one molecule of glucose-1-phosphate from two molecules of lactate. (Assume anaerobic conditions and equivalence between ATP and GTP.)
